Page 16, Column 1Brian Robert Whyte was born March 9, 1983 in Clarion, the son of Robert Scott and Jane Ellen Whyte, Goldfield.
Brian was a kindergarten student at Goldfield Community School.
Brian Robert Whyte, 5, died at Des Moines Methodist Medical Center on Saturday, November 26, 1988 of a congenital heart problem.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Maxine Whyte and an uncle, Robert Berglund.
He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Heather and Heidi at home; grandparents, Arnold and Evelyn Berglund, Marcus; and great-grandparents, Clarence and Florence Weinreich, Kingsley.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 28, at the United Presbyterian Church in Goldfield with the Rev. Victor V. Victoria officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery.
