Blanche N. Coombs Dawson
3 December 1904 ---- 17 August 1956

Dows - Mrs. Vern (Blanche) Dawson, 51, died Friday evening in an ambulance on the way to the Lutheran Hospital at Hampton. She had suffered a stroke.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:30 pm at the Erickson Funeral Home, Dows and at 2 pm at the First Methodist Church here. The Rev. Robert Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. Dawson was born December 3, 1904, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Coombs. She has lived on a farm in the Dows vicinity most of her life.

Survivors include her husband; a son, George Dawson and three daughters: Mrs. Robert (Muriel) Johnson; Mrs. Orville (Arlene) Hartkopp and Miss Ardath Dawson, at home.
