1 June 1904 ---- 27 November 1974

Dows - Services will be at 2 pm Friday at the United Methodist Church for Vern G. Dawson, retired Dows farmer, who died Wednesday at a Hampton Nursing Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Gail; a son, George of Dows; three daughters: Mrs. Roger Gaulke, Dows; Mrs. Orville Hartkopp, Ankeny and Mrs. Robert Johnson, Iowa Falls; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister and three brothers.
