DOWS—Pierre (Peter) Ackerman, 87, died at the Clarion Hospital Monday. He had been a patient there since a fall eight days ago.
Born in Nancy, France, he came to this country when 14. He was married to Minnie Kahler at Gait. He was a retired carpenter.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth, Early; Francis, Dows; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p. m. at the Hove Funeral Home here. The Rev. William O. Niles will officiate. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery here.
