The sympathy of the whole community goes out towards our fellow citizen Mr. Wellington De Noyelles who is laid upon a bed of pain, and the fervent wish and prayer is that he may speedily recover.

Mr. De Noyelles still continues very low. The doctors say that he is liable to pass away at any moment.

Later: -- Mr. Wellington De Noyelles died Tuesday forenoon at 10 o’clock. Interment was made in the Garner cemetery this (Thursday) forenoon.

W. De NOYELLES.

Died—At his home in Garner, Dec. 24th, 1901, aged 46 years. Funeral service was held at the M. E. church Dec. 26th and burial in the Concord cemetery.

Mr. De Noyelles was born in Broome Co., New York in 1855. He came to Nashua, lowa, with his father about 1880 where he lived a number of years. In 1891 he moved to Goldfield, Iowa. Some three years ago he came with his family to Garner and engaged in the jewelry business. He was a good workman and was doing a successful business. When a boy he had a severe run ot inflammatory rheumatism from which he never fully recovered. The disease continued to affect his health and finally went to his heart and caused his death.

His family consisting of wife, little daughter and his mother are left to mourn his death and have the sincere sympathy of the people of Garner in their great sorrow.

Mr. De Noyelles was a member of Odd Fellows lodge and during his sickness the few brothers of that order in Garner gave unto the deceased and his family that brotherly assistance which is one of the cardinal duties of the order.

Mrs. W. De Noyelles and his mother desire to return their sincere thanks to the kind hearted people of Garner for their generous help and assistance during the sickness, death and burial of our husband and son Wellington De Noyelles. May they receive their reward in the return of like service when in need.
