Shirley Ann Schultz, 68, Fort Dodge, died at her home on Sunday, May 26.

Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion. Pastor Mark Young of the Church of Christ officiated.

Shirley was born December 1, 1927, in Wall Lake Township, Wright County, to Ira (Tim) and Mildred Ellston Meyer. She was raised in the Clarion and Eagle Grove areas and graduated from Clarion High School. Her first marriage was to Forrest Claude and they were the parents of three children. They lived in Williams and were divorced. On December 12, 1963, she married William Schultz at Clarion. They lived in Clarion and he died March 10, 1986. Later that year she moved to Fort Dodge.

Survivors include her special friend, Don Martin, Sr. of Fort Dodge; two children, Paul Schultz of Shellsburg; Terry Swanson of Clare; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Meyer of Clarion and Richard Meyer of Gowrie; two sisters, Levetta Tillman of Clarion and Marjorie McCarthy of Cupertino, California; three step-daughters, Kay Peck and Kelly Kline of Clarion; and Kandee Grieser of Vista, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; a brother, Gary; and a daughter, Vickie Paul in 1972; and one great-grandson.
