William L. Schultz, 66, died at the Community Memorial Hospital in Clarion on March 10, 1986 after suffering a heart attack at his home. Services were held at the Eyler-Willim Funeral Home on Thursday morning at 10:30 with Mark Young officiating. The body was cremated.

Bill was born at Eagle Grove on September 18, 1919 and was the son of Anthony Schultz and Carolyn Lawson. He was raised and educated at Clarion and graduated in the class of 1937. For 30 years he was with the Greatwestern and Northwestern Railroads and a telegrapher and agent. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway, Airline and Steamship Clerks. For many years he was a member of the Clarion Fire Department.

His survivors include his wife, Shirley, children; Kay Campbell, Clarion; Mrs. Mike Grieser, Vista, Calif., Kelly Sjoberg, Eagle Grove, Paul, Marion and Mrs. Terry Widick, Clarion; 15 grandchildren and a sister; Mrs. Cheryl Hilgendorf of Clarion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a daughter; Vicki Lynne Paul and his first wife.
