Mrs. Jay Knight Funeral Tuesday

Mrs Jay Knight, 76, a lifelong resident of this area, died Sunday at the Sisson Nursing Home in Humboldt. She had been a patient there three months.

Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Tuesday in the United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Kay Mills officiating. Burial was in Glenwood cemetery.

Besides her husband Mrs. Knight is survived by eight children. They are Kenneth, Lynn, James, Mrs. Leslie Kvale and Mrs. Eugene Lewis, all of Goldfield; Miss Betty Lou Knight, Eagle Grove; Mrs. David Grandgeorge, Webster City, and Richard, Adams, Minn.

Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Eliza Aldridge, Marshalltown.

The former Maude Kelling, Mrs. Knight was born at Goldfield and educated in the schools here. She was married in December of 1908 to Jay Knight. They farmed in the Goldfield vicinity until six years ago when they retired and moved into town.

Mrs. Knight was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
