DEATH OF MRS. BEER
Mrs. Anna H. Beer Passes Away Friday Night
The death of Mrs. Anna H. Beer, which occurred Friday night at about ten o'clock came as a great shock not only to the members of her family but to the entire community. She was in the act of preparing supper when she was seized with convulsions. She never recovered from the attack. Her husband, Jesse Beer, was away from home, being engaged as a conductor on the M. and St. L. road having a run out of Minneapolis. He was communicated with and arrived in this city Sunday morning. The funeral was held at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Chapler having charge of the service. Interment was made in the Rose Hill cemetery. The floral tributes were very beautiful.

The deceased leaves a husband and daughter, Mrs. May Theissen, of Denver, by her first husband Fred Hodge who died several years ago; an adopted child, May; and a brother, C. P. Cornell, of Atlantic who mourn her death.

Anna H. Cornell Beer was born on May 17, 1856 at Maysville, Ont., Can. She came to this country when a young girl. She was married to Jesse Beer at Webster City seven years ago. The family have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
