Last Rites Monday For Mother Of Mrs. George Hoffman

Mrs. Lillian Knight, mother of Mrs. George Hoffman of Renwick, died Friday night, August 5, in Eagle Grove at the Askvig-Crickmore Convalescent Home.

Prior to her illness Mrs. Knight had been active in her church as the pianist and organist.

Mrs. Knight was born February 23, 1874 in Dixon, Ill. She was married to William Knight March 21, 1891. Her husband preceded her in death in 1936, as did one daughter.

Surviving her are a son Ralph of South Gate, Calif., one daughter Mrs. Eura Hoffman of Renwick, five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She will long be remembered because of her devotion to her church and family as a Christian wife and mother and a faithful member of her church.

Final services were held for Mrs. Knight in the Renwick Baptist Church Monday afternoon. Rev. Edward Redfield conducted the services. A woman’s quartet sang two hymns.

Beenens Funeral Service was in charge of the funeral arrangements. Burial was made in the Goldfield Cemetery.

Services for Mrs. Lillian Knight

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lillian Knight were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Baptist Church in Renwick. Mrs. Knight passed away Friday night at the Askvig-Crickmore Nursing home in Eagle Grove after a long illness.
