MRS. HERMAN HEIDEN—Obituary

Ada Ruth Corwin was born March 5, 1892 at Clarion, being the oldest daughter of Ernest and Minnie Corwin. On July 19, 1922 she was married to Herman Heiden of Vernon township. She took a niece of hers, Alice Guild, into her home when five months old and has been a true mother to her. She was confirmed at the Vernon Lutheran church April 22, 1923 and has been a faithful member of the church ever since. Mrs. Heiden had not been in good health for some years and when she suffered an attack of influenza, she did not have the strength to fight it off. She developed pneumonia and was relieved of all suffering March 21, 1939, passing away in the Webster City hospital at the age of 47 years and 16 days.

She is survived by her husband, a sister, Mrs. C. C. Guild of Austin, Minn., two brothers, Earl Corwin of Grand Junction and Dewey Corwin of Popejoy and numerous other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Heiden was a member of the Vernon Lutheran aid society. She was a good church member and those who associated with her knew her as a kind-hearted woman interested in their welfare.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Vernon Lutheran church conducted by Rev. E. A. Kurtz, following a short service at the home. Interment was made in the Vernon township Lutheran cemetery.
