CORLISS, Charles W. Beloved husband of the late Agnes Corliss. Dearly beloved father of Charles Corliss, Constance Palicke, Christopher Corliss, Catherine Ikkanda, and Casey Corliss. Also survived by eleven grandchildren.

Funeral Mass Friday, 7 p.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church. Committal 9 a.m., Saturday at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Death Notice

Charles Corliss, 79, West Los Angeles, Calif., died at his home Dec. 10 of an aneurysm. His funeral service was held Dec. 14 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church at 7 p.m. Burial was the following morning in Holy Cross cemetery where his wife, Dede, who died in 1987, is buried.

Corliss is survived by five children: Charles, Connie Talicke [Palicke], Christopher; Cathy Corliss Ikkanda and Casey Corliss, and a sister, Mildred Corliss Foley, Sacramento, Calif. There are 11 grandchildren.

Charles Corliss was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Corliss who made their home at 215 South Cadwell in Eagle Grove for many years. He graduated from Eagle Grove High School with the class of 1929 and attended Iowa Stale University at Ames.

His parents and an older brother, Reed, are buried in Calvary Cemetery in Eagle Grove.
