Clinton Ray Nicholson
July 30, 1887 ---- April 12, 1975

C. Ray Nicholson, 87, died at 7 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at his residence at 601 S. Roosevelt. Mr. Nicholson farmed in northwest Iowa for many years. He lived at Morning Sun before settling in Burlington. He was a native of Ainsworth and was born July 31, 1887, the son of Rev. James S. and Margaret McConnell Nicholson. Mr. Nicholson was unmarried. He was a member of the Baptist church of Gilmore City. Surviving are nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Kenneth Scheitlin of Burlington. Funeral: Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Gilmore City Baptist church, Rev. Eugene Smith; Goldfield cemetery. The body is at Lunning Chapel.
