Asa H. Reichter was born Sept. 30, 1888 near Goldfield and passed away Oct. 28, 1956 at his home in Eagle Grove where they have lived the past 14 years. He was 68 years, 28 days old at the time of his death. He was united in marriage to Edna Pletcher, May 10, 1909 at Goldfield. To this union were born 3 children, Richard, Verven and Blanche.
He spent part of his boyhood near Holmes on a farm and then they lived on farms near Goldfield until 1942 when they moved to their present home in Eagle Grove, at which time he was employed at the Fraser Furniture store and the assessor office in Clarion.He professed Christ as Saviour in 1927 and united with the Goldfield Baptist church.
He leaves to mourn, his wife and three children, Richard and Verven of Goldfield and Mrs. Frank Peterson of Brownsdale, Minn., nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Florence Duerst of Goldfield, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Last Rites For A. H. Reichter
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Presbyterian church in Goldfield for Asa H. Reichter, 68, who died suddenly at his home on North Lincoln Ave. Mr. and Mrs. Reichter moved to Eagle Grove when they retired from farming, and for many years he was employed at the Fraser Furniture Co. Of late he has been assisting the
Wright county assessor.Mr. Reichter is survived by his wife, two sons Richard and Verven of Goldfield, and one daughter Mrs. Frank Peterson of Brownsdale, Minn., also nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Florence Duerst of Goldfield.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Knutson of Corwith assisted by the church pastor, Rev. Cassius McKnight of Goldfield. Interment was in the Goldfield cemetery.
