Mrs. Bessie Trotter funeral Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Trotter will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Trotter died Tuesday at the Rotary Ann Nursing Home, Eagle Grove, and she had been very ill for several weeks.
She is survived by one son, Bernard Trotter of Des Moines; two daughters: Mrs. Delmar Duitscher of Clarion and Mrs. Jerry Christensen of Goldfield. Other survivors are nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one brother and two sisters, W. H. McCutcheon of the Rotary Ann Nursing Home, Eagle Grove, Mrs. Luella Axon of Goldfield and Mrs. Martha Pardun of Clarion.

Bessie Ruth McCutcheon, daughter of William and Martha Stevenson McCutcheon, was born October 13, 1896 in the Evergreen Community near Goldfield and died, Tuesday August 17 at the Rotary Ann Home in Eagle Grove after reaching the age of 79 years, 10 months, and 4 days.
She received her education in the Evergreen and Goldfield schools.
She was united in marriage to Glen Lyle Trotter on November 24, 1915, and to this union three children were born: Lucille, Mrs. Delmar Duitscher of Clarion; Bernard of Des Moines; and Bette, Mrs. Jerry Christensen of Goldfield.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Goldfield.
After retiring from farming they moved to Goldfield in 1951.
Mrs. Trotter was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen, who passed away in 1971; four sisters; and two brothers.
She leaves to mourn three children; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Luella Axon of Goldfield, Mrs. Martha Pardun of Clarion; and one brother, Will McCutcheon of Eagle Grove.
