Mrs. Martha Jeffrey.
DIED — Wednesday morning, March 2, 1904, Mrs. Martha Jeffrey, aged eighty years, three months and two days. At the ripe old age of four score years, Mrs, Martha Jeffrey, mother of Mrs. P. H. Lyman, passed away at the Lyman home in this city Wednesday morning. For number of years Mrs. Jeffrey had made her home with her daughter here, and had made a great many friends, all of whom will regret to hear of her death.

The deceased had been bed-fast for about eight weeks, but her sickness was not of a severe nature, only the wearing out of the machinery which had for so long propelled and give life to the physical structure.

She was a native of Elmira, Chemung county, New York. The funeral services will be held at the P. H. Lyman home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and interment will be made at Rose Hill cemetery.
