Mrs. Dora Nelson Is Buried Friday

Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p. m. at the Eyler funeral home with Rev. Harvey Travis in charge for Dora Beach Nelson who died at the Clarion Memorial hospital on her 77th birthday at 1:46 a. m., April 13.

Rev. Travis took for his text John 14:2, "In My Father's House Are Many Mansions," a text requested by the deceased. Margaret Comstock sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "No Night There.” Burial was in the Mount Hope cemetery in Dows.

Dora Edith Forrest was born April 13, 1878, at Waterford, Ohio, to Louis and Amanda Forrest. She joined the Methodist church at an early age.

At the age of 17 she came to Goldfield. In 1897 she was united in marriage to Milo Beach who died March 17, 1934 [1935]. To this union eight children were born. Edgar who died in infancy, Maude Beach, who died in 1937, Surviving are six children, Mrs. James Babcock (Erma) Galt; Mrs. Grant Lindstrom (Dorothy) Clare, Mrs. Lenwood Lindstrom (Doloris) Clarion; William Beach, Rosemeade, Calif., Mrs. Delmer Helfritz, (Bonnie) Lyle, Minn., and Robert Bench, Galt. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, one sister, Carrie Fisher of Waterford, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews.

In 1942, she was united in marriage to Willis Nelson who also preceded her in death.

Pall-bearers were Ted Patterson, Dows, Sam Bauman, Galt, Lewis White, Clarion, Henry Schlagel, Galt, Carl Lindstrom and Harold Lindstrom, both of Clarion.
