Iver Moss Dies In Humboldt
Iver P. Moss, 78, died at his home in Humboldt Thursday morning, Nov. 23, following a heart attack. The funeral was Monday at Our Saviour's Lutheran church in Humboldt with Rev. L. C. Jenson, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery at Eagle Grove.

Born at Hardanger, Norway, Mr. Moss was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter B. Moss. He came to the United States, settling first in Story county, Iowa, as a young man. He was married on Feb. 22, 1910, at Cambridge, Iowa, to Miss Gunhild Maland of Cambridge. The couple farmed In Wright county, retiring from the farm and moving into Eagle Grove a number of years ago. They moved to Humboldt eight years ago.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Stoy Elwood, and a son, Ervin Moss, both of Humboldt. Five grandchildren also survive, as do a brother, Lars Moss of Clarion, and another brother and five sisters, all living in Norway. One son preceded him in death.
