Mr. and Mrs. L. N. Michael attended the funeral of the latter’s cousin, Milo Beach held at Dows Tuesday.

Milo Beach, 63, died at his home in the northeast part of town, Saturday morning after a long illness.
Mr. Beach was born Dec. 25, 1871 at Lyn, Ontario, Canada, and came to Dows with his parents in 1896. A short time later they moved to Goldfield. He was married to Miss Dora Forrest at Belmond, June 19, 1897. They lived at Goldfield, except for a few years, until they came to Dows about 15 years ago.
He leaves his wife and seven children. The children are: Mrs. James Babcock at Eagle Grove; Miss Maude Beach, at home; Mrs. Grant Lindstrom and Mrs. Lenwood Lindstrom, both of Perry; William, Lavonne and Robert at home. One brother, Fred Beach at Waterloo and a half-sister, Mrs. Claude Taylor at Alden, and 5 grandchildren.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Halvorson funeral home, with the Rev, J. G. Waterman preaching the funeral sermon. Burial was at Goldfield.

Milo Beach, 63, of Dows, was buried at the Glenwood cemetery here on Tuesday of last week. Mr. Beach who operated a hotel here some thirty years ago passed away at his home on Saturday following an illness with a cancer.
The deceased is survived by his widow and seven children as follows: Mrs. James Babcock of Eagle Grove; Miss Maude Beach, William, LaVonne, and Robert Beach, all of Dows; Mrs. Grant Lindstrom and Mrs. Lenwood Lindstrom, both of Perry.
He is also survived by a brother Fred Beach, of Waterloo, and a sister, Mrs. Claude Taylor, of Alden.
Funeral services were held at the Halverson funeral home at Dows with Rev. E. A. Duea in charge.
