Mrs. Beach Body Taken to Goldfield for Burial
OSAGE, Aug. 29. —Mrs. Jessie L. Beach, mother of Mrs. George Mallow of Osage, died at her daughter's home here Thursday and the body was taken to her former home at Goldfield Sunday where a funeral service conducted by Dr. S. E. Ellis of Osage Methodist church was conducted. Her husband preceded her in death last April. Beside Mrs. Mallow she is survived by two sons, Waller Blake Beach of Alden and Elmer Giles Beach of Osage, one son having died in infancy.

W. W. Field Hears of Sister's Death
W. W. Field received word Saturday of the death of his sister Mrs. Jessie Beach, 54 years old at Osage, who died Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Beach was born at Goldfield and lived there until about ten years ago when she moved to Osage. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. George Mallow and two sons Elmer and Blake who all live at Osage.

Goldfield Local NewsDeath Calls Mrs. Walter Beach
Mrs. Walter Beach died Thursday afternoon of last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Mallow, at Osage. Mrs. Beach had been in ill health for several months and had been cared for by her daughter. She made her home in Goldfield practically all her life and enjoyed a host of friends, all of whom extend sympathy to the family.

Mrs. Walter Beach Brought Here For Burial
The body of Mrs. Walter Beach, one of this community’s early settlers, was brought to Goldfield Sunday for burial beside that of her husband.
Obituary
Jessie Laura Field was born in Wright county, Iowa, September 7, 1877 [1876]. She was the daughter of Charles D. and Mary Amelia Field. Her life was spent entirely in the community of Goldfield until some few months ago, when she came to Osage and has since made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Mallow, until the time of her death on August 25, 1932.
She was married to Walter Giles Beach, December 21, 1898, at Goldfield and four children were born to them, one Alton Fred, dying in infancy.
Mr. Beach died April 6, 1932. Mrs. Beach became a member of the Goldfield Methodist church in her girlhood. She was, in her mature years, president of the Woman’s Home Missionary Society and secretary of the Dorcas Society for many years. Her love and devotion was for her home and her church.
She is survived by her three children, Mrs. George Mallow of Osage, Walter B. Beach of Alden, Iowa and Elmer Giles Beach of Osage. Also two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Dryden Stoakes of Hardwick, Minn., Mrs. Geo. Trotter of Eagle Grove, Iowa and Wallace Field of Humboldt, Iowa and two grandchildren, Giles and Keith Mallow.
Funeral services were held in the Goldfield M. E. church conducted by Rev. S. T. Ellis of Osage assisted by Rev. W. S. Handy, the local pastor. Interment was in the Goldfield cemetery.

Goldfield Woman Died Thursday at Osage

GOLDFIELD, la., August 31— Mrs. Jessie Beach, fifty-five years of age, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fern Marlow [Mallow] at Osage, Thursday evening of last week. Mrs. Beach was a pioneer resident of Goldfield, having been born near here and lived here until several years ago when she and her family moved to Eagle Grove.
Mrs. Beach had been in good health and her sudden death was a shock to her many friends and relatives. Funeral services were held at the Goldfield M. E. church Sunday afternoon with burial in the Glen wood cemetery. She is survived by three children, Mrs. Fern Marlow [Mallow] and Elmer at Osage, and Blake of Alden. Her husband died about six months ago. She also leaves one brother, Wallace Fields of Humboldt, and two sisters, Mrs. D. J. Stoakes of Hardwick, Minn., and Mrs. George Trotter of Eagle Grove.
