20 February 1875 --– 1 November 1889

DIED — Perry Maxwell, aged fifteen years, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Maxwell, of Dayton township, died Saturday of erysipelas after a short illness. Funeral services at the house at 2 o'clock were conducted by Rev. Findley, and the remains were interred in Glenwood cemetery [Goldfield, Iowa]. Perry was a boy who was highly esteemed by all who knew him, and his sudden death is a hard blow to the bereaved parents. Their many friends sympathize with them in this sad event.
