Sadie B. Agard Rites In Iowa
Sadie Belle Agard, 62, died this morning at her home, 454 Old Soquel highway. She had lived here seven months, coming from Iowa, where she was born and had lived the great share of her life.
Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Marion Bjork and Mrs. Glenn Gustafson, both of Santa Cruz, and her grandsons, Rodney and Gary Gustafson of Santa Cruz.
The remains are being forwarded by Brenkwitz mortuary to Eagle Grove, Iowa, for interment.

AGARD – In Santa Cruz, November 28, 1952, Sadie Belle Agard: beloved mother of Mrs. Marion Bjork, Mrs. Glenn Gustafson, both of Santa Cruz, grandmother of Rodney and Gary Gustafson ot Santa Cruz. Native of Goldfield, Iowa, aged 62 years.
Friends may call at the Brenkwitz Mortuary, 212 Laurel St. this evening. The remains will be forwarded Saturday, November 29 at 8 a. m. to Eagle Grove, Iowa, for interment.

Goldfield Woman Dies in California
Mrs. Sadie Agard, 62, long time Goldfield resident, passed Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marion Byork in Santa Cruz, Calif.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marion Byork and Mrs. Glen Gustafson of Santa Cruz, Calif., and two grandsons, two sisters. Mrs. Janet Freeman and Mrs. Jack McCutcheon of Goldfield; two brothers, Ross Matheson of Clarion and Ed Matheson of Goldfield.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Methodist church with Rev. R. R. Kessinger of LuVerne officiating. Burial was in the Glenwood cemetery.

MRS. GEORGE AGARD
Sadie Belle, daughter of John and Mary Ann Matheson, was born in Goldfield Mar. 24, 1890, and died at the home of her daughter, Marian Bjork at Santa Cruz, Calif., Nov. 28, 1952, being at the time of her death 62 years, 8 months and 4 days of age. She spent all but the last six months of her life in Goldfield.
On Aug. 28, 1912, she was married to George Agard. To this union were born two daughters: Marian Bjork and Lillian Gustafson, both of Santa Cruz.
She was a member of the Methodist church and was a faithful attendant at church and Sunday school as long as her health permitted.
Besides her two daughters she leaves two grandsons, Rodney and Gary Gustafson of Santa Cruz; two sisters, Mrs. Janet Freeman and Mrs. Rilla McCutcheon of Goldfield; two brothers, Ed Matheson of Goldfield and Ross Matheson of Clarion, besides nephews. Burial was in Goldfield cemetery.
