Mildred Irene DeWinter Hallagan
7 August 1910 -- 26 May 1956

Mildred DeWinter Hallagan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry DeWinter, was born August 7, 1910 at Vincent, Iowa, and passed away at a hospital in Fort Dodge, May 26, 1956.

She attended grade school in Newark twp. and graduated from the Eagle Grove high school. After she finished school she worked for the telephone company and at the time of her death was employed at Scott Store.

On June 28, 1933 she was united in marriage to Harold Hallagan. To this union was born five children, Carroll, Marilyn (Mrs. David Gunderson), Jeananne, and Michael all of Eagle Grove, and a son James Eugene who passed away when he was two years of age.

Surviving her are her husband, Harold, two sons Carroll and Michael, two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Gunderson and Jeananne, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Henry DeWinter of Vincent, one brother Lurman De Winter of Thor and two sisters Mrs. Doris Sampson of Humboldt and Mrs. Lucille Anderson of Thor. She was proceeded in death by her son James Eugene, one sister Mrs. Burnis McCutcheon and one brother, Clifford De Winter.
