1843 --- 3 February 1889

Died In Eagle Grove, Sunday. February 3d, 1889, of dropsy with complications, Mrs. J. W. Rucker, aged 47 years. She has been an invalid for a long time, and during the past four months has been confined to her room. She leaves a husband and a number of children to mourn her death, who have the sympathy of the community in their heavy affliction. Her remains were buried in Rose Hill cemetery last Monday.
