Millie Wasem Baker
4 November 1863 --- 9 January 1944

Mrs. Millie Baker passed away January 9th, 1944 at the home of her son, Homer Baker at New Hampton.

Millie Wasem was born November 4, 1863 daughter of John and Anna Case Wasem of Eagle Grove, Iowa. She grew to young womanhood in this community.

She was united in marriage to Walter Baker February 12, 1891. To this union were born five children. Two children and her husband preceded her in death. Virginia in infancy, Anna in 1939 and her husband in 1926. Three sons survive, Walter of Los Angeles, Calif., George of Dallas, Wis., and Homer of New Hampton, Iowa. Besides her children she leaves to mourn her passing eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon at Wilson's funeral chapel with Rev. C. W. Tompkins in charge. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.
