Charles Theodore Grandgeorge
18 April 1900 -- 19 November 1986

Charles Theodore Grandgeorge, son of George and Marie Grandgeorge, was born April 18, 1900, at rural Woolstock. He was educated in rural schools south of Eagle Grove and later attended high school at Claremont, Minn. He moved back to the Woolstock area where he farmed, as well as farming southwest of Webster City. He married Velma Norcross on Oct. 17, 1931, at Galena, Ill. The couple farmed southwest of Webster City until 1966 when they retired and moved to rural Woolstock.

Mr. Grandgeorge was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He died Monday, Nov. 17 at the Hamilton County Hospital. Surviving are his wife; two daughters and one son, Charlotte (Mrs. Maynard)
Finch of Webster City, Richard of R.R. Webster City, Phyllis (Mrs. Jack) Hill of Stanhope; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, one brother, Ralph of Webster City, and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, four sisters and one nephew.

Funeral services for Charles T. Grandgeorge, 86, were held Thursday, Nov 20 at 1:30 p.m at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. R. M. Roden officiating. Burial was in the French Cemetery near Woolstock.
