Ida A. Gray
6 August 1857 ---- 24 June 1903

Mrs. Ida A. Gray, wife of Edwin Gray, died at the home of her cousin, Bert Magill, at Mason City, Iowa, June 24, 1903, at 10:20 o'clock; aged forty-six years, ten months and eighteen days.

Ida A. Burroughs was born at Hobart, Indiana, August 6, 1850 and was married to Mr. Edwin Gray at Epworth, Iowa, September 20, 1874. She was the mother of seven children, one daughter and six sons, one of whom preceded her in death by about three months. The family has lived in Eagle Grove for about five years and for nearly the whole of this time Mrs. Gray has been a great sufferer. Mrs. Gray was a member of the Presbyterian church and died in that faith.

Her death came suddenly and almost without warning. Besides her children, Mrs. Gray leaves a husband, mother, three sisters and other relatives to mourn their loss. The funeral was held from the Baptist church this in city Friday, June 20, at 4:00 o'clock, F. O. Bump officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.
