Funeral services for L. E. Mosher, who lost his life last Thursday morning in a truck accident, were held Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church, with the Rev. J. R. Tumbleson in charge. Mr. Mosher was born on a farm near Eagle Grove, April 24, 1882. On Dec. 30, 1903, he was united in marriage with Miss Daisy Nelson of this city. To this union, nine children were born. Lendel and Will passed away in infancy, and Lillian died May 2, 1937. Mrs. Mosher passed away Dec. 17, 1918.

The six living children are: Mrs. George Wilcox, Pontiac, Mich., Thurman, Grand Forks, N. Dak.; Elmer, Grygla, Minn.; Mrs. Omer Anderson, Thor; Mrs. Vernon Rohrer, Clarion, and Mrs. Irving Melhus, Belmond.

Although Mr. Mosher spent several years farming in Minnesota, he spent most of his life in or near Eagle Grove. Of late years he has been living with his daughters. He was instantly killed in an accident when a truck in which he was riding turned over on the pavement at the Duncombe corner on Primary 20 last Thursday morning Feb. 5.
