Alfred Lindaas Funeral Tuesday

Alfred Lindaas, 75, died Saturday at his home, 202 North East 8th St. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Sandvig Funeral Home, with Pastor Marvin L. Dooley of Samuel Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, where military rites were in charge of Clarence Shurtz Post.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. George Pressler, 5 grandchildren and one brother, George Lindaas of Chicago, Ill.

A. Lindaas was born in Clarion and attended schools there. On Oct. 4, 1922 he was married to Nellie Weltha in Eagle Grove. He farmed for several years and also did farm tiling work. In latter years he was in the maintenance departments at Lutheran Hospital and Friendship Haven Fort Dodge.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War I. He was a member of Samuel Lutheran Church.
