Pioneer Eagle Grove Resident Dies; Was Reared in Wisconsin
EAGLE GROVE, Dec. 7. — Funeral services for Peter N. Lindaas, 66, were held on Thursday at the East Side Lutheran church, the Rev. T. J. Severtson, pastor of the church officiating.
Mr. Lindaas was born in Dane county, Wis., and his marriage to Miss Anna Jacobson was at Taylor, Wis., in 1888. Mr. and Mrs. Lindaas lived in Marshalltown for two years, and came, to Wright county in 1892. In the spring of 1909 they came Eagle Grove, where Mr. Lindaas began work with the Chicago & Northwestern Railway, with which company he has been employed until his passing away after a short Illness. Besides the widow, he is survived by two sons, Alfred and George, in Eagle Grove; one sister in Hannaford, N. Dak., and one grandchild.
