Mrs. Mary Moore, 78, Died Sunday
Mrs. Mary Moore,78, died Sunday morning after a lingering illness. Mrs. Moore had been cared for the past several months by Mrs. John Roseland in her home. Funeral services were held from Sacred Heart church on Monday morning at nine o'clock, and burial was made in Calvary cemetery.

Obituary
Mary E. Moore, born Jan. 15, 1856 and died March 25, 1931 at the age of 78 years, 2 months and 10 days. Mrs. Moore was born in Ireland and came to the United States at the age of 20 years where she resided in New York for a few years and then came to Earlville, Iowa, where she was united in marriage to Thomas Moore and to this union were born six children, five are left to mourn her death, namely: Thomas Moore of Renwick, Mrs. C. A. Warner of Albert Lea, Minn., George of Eagle Grove and Mrs. C. T. Brattebo of Boone, one son, John Joseph, died in infancy. Twenty-one grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart church on Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock, with the Rt. Rev. Father Molloy officiating. The remains were laid to rest in Calvary cemetery by the side of her husband, who preceded her in death five years ago.
