Former Eagle Grove Man Dies Friday
Gus Swanson, about 50, of Gardena, Calif., died unexpectedly Friday June 10th following a Heart
attack. Mr. Swanson, a brother of Mrs. E. K. Ryan of this city, was having a vacation, and visiting
friends at Arcadia, Calif., when stricken. Funeral services were held in Gardenia. Mr. Swanson is survived by his wife and two daughters, also his sister, Mrs. Ryan, and one brother George Swanson, now of Collins, Ill. Gus was a graduate of Eagle
Grove high school and graduated with the class of 1917. He has resided in California for many years.
