JAMES A. SMITH
February 17, 1918 --- February 10, 1982

Word has been received of the death of James A. Smith, age 62, Tuesday, February 10, 1982 at San Jose, California. Funeral services were held there on Friday, February 12. James formerly lived in the Evergreen Community with his parents and graduated from the Goldfield high school. He served in the Navy for thirty years and after retirement was employed in San Jose where he made his home.

He is survived by his wife, a son and daughter and 4 grandchildren, and his mother, Mrs. Margaret Slaikeu and a brother, Richard Slaikeu of Eagle Grove.
