November 1888 -- October 1, 1892

L. P. Stevenson's sister, Mrs. Gerdes, of Ohio, lost her little boy last week while visiting with L. P.'s. The child had been sick with diphtheria for some time. Mr. Gerdes was telegraphed for and arrived in time to see his beloved son draw his last breath.
