Lake Woman Dies at Home
Mrs. W. Duitscher Succumbs Suddenly
Clear Lake -- Mrs. William Duitscher, 52, died at her home, 210 N. 12th street, Wednesday evening following a short illness. She had been in failing health for some time but became seriously ill only Sunday. Mrs. Duitscher was born Mayme Matson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Matson, at Goldfield, Nov. 11, 1897, and was married to Mr. Duitscher there Jan. 14, 1925. They lived on a farm near Clear Lake where her husband died July 4, 1937. Mrs. Duitscher is survived by her mother, Mrs. Nina Matson, Belleflower, Cal.: a son, Arnold Duitscher, Clear Lake; a daughter, Mrs. T. E. Nelson, Jr., Clear Lake; 2 grandsons, Michael and Kirk Nelson, 3 brothers and 5 sisters. She was preceded in death by her father and husband. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at the Wilcox funeral chapel.
