Obituary

Margaret Irene Godfredsen was born Dec. 2, 1918 and departed this life Aug. 8, 1931, at her home in Goldfield. For eight weeks she put up a brave fight for life. All that loving hands and hearts could do was done for her comfort and recovery. She was an honor student the last three semesters in her school work. Her sweet, sunny disposition and kindliness won for her a host of friends.

At the age of ten years she united with the Presbyterian church of this place. Her last church activity was her attendance at the Daily Vacation Bible school. She will be sadly missed by her devoted mother and father, her many relatives and friends. May the memory of her sweeten and enrich our lives.

Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church on Monday afternoon at 2:30. Six high school boys acted as pall bearers, and six girls of her class acted as honorary pall bearers. The music was beautifully rendered by four high school girls. The services were conducted by Mrs. Ira D. Halvorsen, assisted by Rev. Allen, former pastor here, and Rev. Ira D. Halvorsen. The floral offerings were beautiful and appropriate.

We extend our heart-felt sympathy to the bereaved ones.
