Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the United Presbyterian church for Rasmus H. Godfredsen, 86, who died in a nursing home at Eagle Grove. The Rev. Kay Mills officiated and burial was in Glenwood cemetery.

Mr. Godfredsen was born in Denmark and came to the Goldfield area when he was seven years old. He was engaged in farming for many years. His wife, Anna died in 1945. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Williams of Pleasantville and Mrs. Vera Ayer of Keokuk.

Services For Goldfield Man

Funeral services for Rasmus H. Godfredsen, 86 of Goldfield were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Goldfield United Presbyterian church. He died Friday at a nursing home in Eagle Grove. The Rev. Kay Mills officiated at the service, burial was in Glenwood cemetery with Sacquety funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Godfredsen was born in Denmark and came to the Goldfield area when he was seven years old. He had been engaged in farming many years in this vicinity. He is survived by two sisters.
