Aged Woman Dies At Moline, Ill.
Mrs. John Schnell, 75, former resident, of Goldfield, passed away Friday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Broadfoot in Moline, Ill. Mrs. Schnell spent 23 years of her married life as a resident of Goldfield and the past four years has lived with her daughter in Moline, Ill. She is survived by nine children: Mrs. Reiny (Mary) Beisell of Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. James (Mary) Broadfoot of Moline, Ill., Henry Schnell of Moline, Ill., Mrs. Kenneth (Elizabeth) Berg of Rock Island, Ill., Paul Schnell and Mrs. Katherine Humphreys of Galt, Sander and Fred Schnell of Goldfield; 28 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Methodist church with Rev. F. C. Greene officiating. Interment was in the Glenwood cemetery in Goldfield.

Mrs. Elizabeth Katherine Schnell was born in Russia, Feb. 11, 1878. Her maiden name was Miller. She married John Schnell, Dec. 31, 1896, in Russia. They moved to the United States in 1906, proceeding to Harrington, Kan. The deceased was of German Lutheran faith. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Frank C. Greene, pastor The Methodist church in Goldfield on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 1953, at 2:00 P.M. The hymns, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden" were sung by Leonard Madison. The organist was Mrs. Glen G. Braden.

Mrs. Elizabeth Schnell Dies In Moline, Ill.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church in Goldfield for Mrs. Elizabeth Schnell who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Broadfoot at Moline, Ill. Mrs. Schnell had been in failing health the past six months. Rev. Frank Greene was in charge of the services and burial was made in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Schnell is survived by nine children, twenty eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter.

Mrs. Elizabeth Katherine Schnell was born in Russia, February 11, 1878. Her maiden name was Miller. She died at 6:00 a. m. Saturday, September 5, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Broadfoot, 11046 Thirty-first Street, Moline, Ill. where she had resided the last ten years, She had attained the age of 75 years, six months and 26 days. She married John Schnell, December 31, 1896, in Russia They moved to the United States in 1906, proceeding to Harrington, Kansas. The deceased was of German Lutheran faith.

Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. James Broadfoot, of Moline, Ill., Mrs. A. H. Beisell of Crafton, Wisconsin, Mrs. Kenneth Berg of Rock Island, Ill. and Mrs. Katherine Humphreys of Galt, Iowa. Five sons also survive: Paul of Galt, Sander and Fred of Goldfield: Henry and William of Moline, Ill., 28 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive. Her husband and a daughter preceded her in death.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev Frank Greene, pastor of the Methodist church in Goldfield, Iowa, on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. The hymns, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden" were sung by Leonard Madison. The organist was Mrs. Glen G. Braden.
