Jane Paskin to be buried today

Miss Jane Paskin, 74, a lifetime resident, died Monday night at the Belmond Community Hospital where she had been taken after becoming suddenly ill at home in the evening.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home, Eagle Grove, with burial in Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield.

Surviving are two brothers, William and Virgil, both of Goldfield; three sisters, Mrs. John Sheets, Goldfield; Mrs. Adolph Carlson, Kanawha, and Mrs. Sam Douglas, Clarion.

Miss Paskin was born on a farm six miles north of Goldfield and lived there all her life. She attended the rural school and Renwick High School. She worked extensively in the area as a midwife and reared five nieces and nephews in her home.

Frank Paskin, Jeff and Jill of Gridley, Kan., visited from Thursday until Sunday at the Russell Cameron home. Ben Paskin of Cranston, R. I., and Mrs. Merle Esmay of East Lansing, Mich., also came to attend the funeral of Jane Paskin. Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Platts and family of Mason City were visitors.
