Roy Wm. Hossman Funeral Held In Evangelical Church

Roy Wm. Hossman, 67, died Sunday at the Clarion hospital. He had been in failing health for several months. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Evangelical Lutheran church in charge of Rev. H. W. Schiller. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mr. Hossman is survived by his wife, three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Verne Betts of Lake Worth, Fla., Mrs. Buddy Nielsen and Mrs. Douglas Cramer of Iowa Falls, Roger Hossman of Tucson, Ariz., and Darrol Hossman of Eagle Grove. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, one sister Mrs. May Wilcox and one brother Frank Hossman of Eagle Grove.

Mr. Hossman was born in Eagle Grove Oct 15, 1896 and his parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hossman. He was married to the former Minnie Howe on March 21, 1921 in Eagle Grove. They lived on a farm near Algona for five years following their marriage and then moved to a farm southwest of Eagle Grove. Mr. Hossman retired five years ago and Mr. and Mrs. Hossman moved to their home at 416 North Iowa Ave.
