Alan C. LaRue was born on August 5, 1959, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Harley and Jean Baker LaRue. He graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1978 and later graduated from Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. He was employed at AG Processing until his illness forced him to quit.

Alan C. LaRue died Monday, December 27, 1999, at the Hamilton County Hospital in Webster City, Iowa, at the age of 40.

He is survived by one daughter, Bryann LaRue; his father, Harley LaRue; one brother, Alvin LaRue and wife, Sheila; three sisters, Bonnie Pauls and husband, Doug, Barb LaRue and Bev LaRue, all of Eagle Grove.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean LaRue, on November 7, 1999.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 30, 1999, at 1:30 p.m. at the Willim Funeral Home in Eagle Grove with Reverend David Miller officiating. Burial was held in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove.

Willim Funeral Home in Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
