April 20, 1920 --- September 7, 1994

Milton E. Koepke was born in Eagle Grove, April 20, 1920, the son of Gilbert and Hilda Koepke. He graduated from Eagle Grove High School in the class of 1937. After graduation he served 23 years in the U.S. Navy. He then accepted a position with Navy Mutual Aid in Arlington, Va. and retired as Vice President in 1980. He was married to Ruth King in September, 1944.

Milton Koepke (Lt. Cmdr. USN) (Ret.) died September 7, 1994 at his daughter's home in Sandy Spring, Md. He is survived by his six children: Peter of Redway, Calif.; David of Honesdale, Pa.; Mark of Morgantown, W. Va.; Kristine of Hedgesville, W. Va.; John of Thurmont, Md.; and Jane of Sandy Spring, Md. Also surviving are two sisters, Patricia Hart of Gilmore City and Janice Franklin of Ames. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth, his parents, Gilbert and Hilda Koepke, a sister Barbara Jane, and a brother Ray. Burial was at Arlington National Cemetery on September 12, 1994.
