The six months old baby of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Egesdahl was buried Tuesday. Rev. Oakdale officiated at the funeral. The parents have the sympathy of the entire community.

[Transcriber: The daughter of Lars Egesdahl and Bertha (Gunderson) Egesdahl; There is a posting for Beatrice with her parents in Riverview Cemetery in Elmore, Faribault County, Minnesota which may or may not be correct since she was initially buried in Eagle Grove in Rose Hill Cemetery in Block 29, lot 1, space 1; She may have been disinterred and buried in the family plot in Minnesota. From her sister, Ruth Egesdal Edwards' memoirs written in 2011, "When Beatrice was born it was a different pregnancy and she almost did not make it due to hemorrhage. Beatrice was born a blue baby (congenital heart) and had a hair lip and cliff palate. She died in Mom's arms at seven months." Beatrice was christened at one day of age in Eagle Grove as "Beatrice Lucille Egesdahl; her death certificate lists her as Beatrice Louceil Egesdahl and lists the place of death as Dayton township, Wright County, Iowa;]
