Former Resident Dies In Elmore, Minn.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lars Egesdal of Elmore, Minn. a former Eagle Grove resident, were held last Wednesday in Elmore, Minn. Mrs. Egesdal died May 10 at her home following a heart attack. She had been in failing health for about two years. She was a sister of Mrs. R. A. Baker, Mrs. Andrew Midland, Elmer Gunderson and Miss Clara Gunderson of Eagle Grove.

Mrs. Egesdal, the former Bertha Gunderson, was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. Erik Gunderson. She was born in Norway Sept. 26, 1882 and came with her parents to Eagle Grove when she was 1-1/2 years old. She was married to Lars Egesdal in Eagle Grove March 23, 1904 and they moved to Elmore, Minn, where they farmed.

Mrs. Egesdal is survived by five children, 18 grandchildren, three sisters and one brother. Funeral services were in the Shilow Lutheran church in Elmore, Minn, and interment was there. Attending the services from here were Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Midland, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Gunderson, Miss Clara Gunderson, Lester Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Egesdal, and Mrs. Russell Christopher.
