MRS. MAXON, 44, DIES AT HOME
Services for Former Webster City Woman to Be Tomorrow.
EAGLE GROVE, Iowa, June 28—Mrs. Bert Maxon. 44, died at her residence yesterday. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at the Wilson funeral chapel, in charge of the Rev. Dow Crewdson, of the Christian church at Webster City. Burial will be made in Graceland cemetery at Webster City.
Surviving are four sons and two daughters. The sons are Keith, Clare, Robert, and Lawrence, and the daughters are Thelma and Shirley, all in Eagle Grove; one sister, Mrs. T. H. Leonard, Davenport, two brothers, Eldon Bish, of Newell, and Harold Bish, also one grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Webster City and had lived in Eagle Grove for 15 years. Mr. Maxon died last year in Eagle Grove.

MRS. BERT MAXON
Freda Loretta Bish was born in Webster City, March 30, 1896, and died In Eagle Grove, June 27, 1940, at the age of 44 years, 2 months and 27 days, after a lingering illness.
She was married to A. H. Maxon November 24, 1913 and there were six children born to this union. They were Keith, Clare, Thelma, Robert, Shirley and Lawrence.
She also leaves her mother, who lives at Newell, and who is lying at death's door. Two brothers, Eldon of Newell, and Harold of Cumberland, Maine, and one sister, Mrs. T. H. Leonard of Davenport.
Mrs. Maxon united with the Church of Christ in Webster City and later united with the Baptist church in Eagle Grove, when the family moved to this place where they made their home for several years. Mr. Maxon passed on about a year ago.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Wilson's chapel, and burial was in the family lot in Graceland cemetery at Webster City, and the services were in charge of Rev. Crewdson of Webster City.
