Bertha Myrtle Smith Shilts Ward
March 27, 1887 --- March 1, 1964

Interment services were held Wednesday morning in Rose Hill Cemetery for Mrs. Bertha Ward, 76, of Humboldt and formerly of Eagle Grove. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. at the Humboldt Congregational Church with the Rev. Francis Burr officiating. Mrs. Ward died Saturday night at her home. She was the former Bertha Smith of Eagle Grove and a sister of Mrs. E. J. McGrath of this city. She is survived by two sons, Melvin Schiltz of Omaha and John Schiltz of Wichita Falls, Tex. and her sister Mrs. McGrath.
