Raymond D. Baldner Sr., age 78 of Evanston, beloved husband of the late Louise Barg Baldner; fond father of Raymond D. Jr. (Marilyn), Barbara (Morton) Hattes and Richard (Phyllis) Baldner of Oklahoma; also seven grandchildren.

Funeral Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. from Donnelian-Fitzgerald-Franklin Funeral Home, 1571 Maple Ave., Evanston to St. Mary Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 2-10 p.m. Masses and contributions to the Heart Fund preferred.

Ray Baldner dies in Evanston Ill.

Ray Baldner, a former Eagle Grove resident died Sunday evening in Evanston, Ill. following a long illness.

Funeral services were held there Wednesday morning.

He is survived by one son, Dick Baldner of Midwest City, Okla., one daughter and one son, Barbara and Ray, Jr. of Evanston, Ill. and several grandchildren.

Mr. Baldner, an Eagle Grove native, was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andy Baldner and after his school days was employed at the Chicago and North Western Shops. His first wife was the former Margaret Cooke of Eagle Grove. After her death he moved to Illinois. His second wife died three years ago.
