ARTHUR L. WIGGINS
Arthur L. Wiggins, 90, died at the Oak Haven Rest Home in Sanford, North Carolina, on Sunday, June 4. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 10, at Rose Hill Cemetery [Eagle Grove] at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held Friday, June 9, at the Willim Funeral Home from 6 - 8 p.m. Willim Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Arthur L. Wiggins was born at Goldfield on July 19, 1904, to George Wiggins and Mary Jensen Wiggins. He was raised and educated in Goldfield. On January 2, 1935, he was united in marriage to Mary H. Gross and to this union two sons, Bill and Jim were born. In 1937, they moved to Clarion where he was a self-employed electrician. When Arthur retired the couple spent their winters in Texas. Mary died October 21, 1989. In January, 1994, Arthur moved to Pittsboro, North Carolina, to be near his son.

Those left to cherish his memory are two sons, Charles W. (Bill) Wiggins of College Station, Texas; James W. Wiggins of Pittsboro, North Carolina; and one sister, Irene Hoffman of Hastings, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; parents; one brother and three sisters.
