Death of Mrs. Jennie Paine
Mrs. Jennie Paine, wife of Warren Paine and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Stevenson, departed this life March 26th, at 9 o'clock a.m. All in man's power was done to stay the grim messenger of death, but to no use, as God who gave her, saw fit to remove her from her earthly career and took her to her eternal home, where trials and sufferings are not.

She leaves a husband, infant son, father, mother, sisters and brothers to mourn her loss. Jennie Paine, whose maiden name was Jennie Stevenson, was married to Warren Paine in June, 1889, and resided on their farm until her death. Mrs. Paine was a member of the U P church, and true christian lady. She was a kind neighbor, a dutiful wife, and her death is sadly mourned by all who knew her.

The sorrowing relatives have the sincere sympathy of all. The remains were interred in Hewett and Paine cemetery, and owing to the inclemency of the weather the funeral services were postponed until Sunday, April 6th, to take place at the U P church, conducted by Rev. G. I. Findley.
