Former Editor Dies Wednesday

R. C. [Robert Charles] Goshorn, 62, died Wednesday morning at his home in Jefferson City, Mo., following a heart attack. He had been in failing health for about two years. Mr. Goshorn, the former owner and publisher of the Eagle Grove Times, was a publisher and radio station owner in Jefferson City. He was born in Winterset, Iowa, and had been in the newspaper business there and in Kalispell, Mont., before coming to Eagle Grove. He sold the Times to the Eagle Grove Eagle in 1927. Surviving are his wife, and one daughter Mrs. Betty Handy of Jefferson City, also three sisters and one brother. The funeral services will be held Friday.

Dr. and Mrs. J. R. Christenson had stopped to visit the Goshorns on their way south this winter.
